Members of FILT-CGIL distributed leaflets and stickers to UPS and DHL workers at Orio al Serio airport in Bergamo.

Morocco
UMT organised a large union meeting at its headquarters this afternoon. The meeting, which lasted an hour, brought together approximately 150 union representatives who work at Casablanca airport and in the airline companies. The meeting, which focused on UPS and DHL, aimed to raise awareness of the importance of unionisation and denounced anti-union activities by the two companies. Participants called on DHL to reinstate the General Secretary of the DHL union who had been sacked six months earlier during attempts to organise workers.

Spain
The UGT is meeting with DHL, along with CC.OO, to discuss the collective bargaining agreement for integrator workers in Spain. The UGT union organisers distributed the global delivery action day materials to the workers yesterday.

USA
General President of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters James Hoffa issued a press release and union activists are out across the country leafleting and bringing the global message to workers. (Phone report Rebecca Hanscom, Teamsters)
