Global Projects Worker, Ports of Convenience (POC) Campaign (C3) Dockers' Section – 12 month fixed term contract
The International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF) is looking for a Global Projects Worker Ports of Convenience (POC) Campaign (C3) Dockers' Section on a 12 month fixed term contract, to be based in London and to start as soon as possible.
This is a demanding and exciting opportunity for the successful candidate and one that will need the ability to provide support with training and development, planning and programmatic assistance to ITF affiliated dockers unions at an international level in order to assist them to meet their goal of setting acceptable labor standards through effective participation in the POC programme and its associated campaigns. Fluent written and spoken English is essential and a good working knowledge of another language will be valuable.
Excellent conditions accompany a starting salary of £37,261.00 plus an annual bonus of £3,105.08. Annual leave will be 22 days to cover the duration of the contract.
It is anticipated that interviews for this position will take place in London on Tuesday 21 February 2012.
