The 41st Congress Resolution 4: HIV/AIDS and Transport Workers, Resolves that: The ITF should continue to take forward activities on HIV/AIDS as outlined in the resolution adopted on HIV/AIDS at the 40th ITF Congress in Vancouver in 2002
HIV/AIDS strategy document
Introduction: This document provides a framework for discussing how the ITF should strengthen its strategy and interventions on HIV/AIDS. It analyses the political factors which need to inform the orientation of this work, and defines the key objectives and core principles which should inform the development of a comprehensive global programme of trade union activities in the transport industry which includes education, research, organising, bargaining, lobbying and campaigning.
