Through the Global HIV/AIDS project, the ITF is committed to implement a coordinated international campaign against HIV/AIDS and facilitate a process where transport unions worldwide play an important role in reducing vulnerability of transport workers and their families. But to achieve our objective, we all need to have a clear understanding of the global epidemic. We need to be updated on developments in the HIV/AIDS arena because at a time when HIV is still spreading steadily across the globe, we are also witnessing some progress in controlling this deadly disease.

As a part of the Global HIV/AIDS project, the ITF is publishing a fortnightly E-bulletin. The objective of this E-bulletin is to circulate AIDS-related news about publications, literature and research to affiliated unions and others working in this field on a regular basis. Please send us stories of HIV/AIDS interventions in your union or country to share with others.
